3:19 am - important announcment:

I don't remember if I said so on the internet already, but I'm in "Smokey Joe's Cafe" this fall. It runs from September 20th to October 14th at the Solano College Campus Theater and I'd love it if my friends and family could come see it. I actually have a part where I'm sining alone on stage for about a minute and I'm a backup singer in practically every other song. It's a huge deal for me. So if anyone can come see it, I'd love to see you there.

12:10 am - IQ Test
|
I took an IQ test and much to my surprise and the surprise of the guy who gave me my results:
I have an IQ of 178.
Which, if you don't understand how those work, is extremely high.
110-120 is about average, he said, and 140 is really high.
He says that I should be a scientist and help prove evolution or something.
I said, "I don't think so."
So now I am an official genius.
Suck it, everyone else.

2:23 pm - Smokey Joe's Cafe

I didn't audition in June, when I should have, and I was feeling a little regret about it.
At orientation, Chris Guptal came in and asked if there were any baritones around.
I said that I was one and he told me to audition for Smokey Joe's Cafe because they had just lost their baritone.
I went yesterday morning and I'm pleased to say that I was the best one there.
I might also add that I was the only one there.
I'm supposed to get a call today.
So, we'll see what happens.

11:38 am - Whoo Hoo!
|
I have apendicidis and tonsilidis(or whatever it's called when your tonsils swell up and have to be removed).
Also, I threw up twice and my fever is hotter than the tempature outside(which is about 104 degrees according to the crazy thermometer outisde my window).
Also, My car has a severe oil leak and is apparently unsafe to drive because the oil could ignite or something crazy like that.
I also or may or may not have lost my job, but we'll see how that transpires.
AND! My dog bit me today. He's NEVER done that before.
But, I'm going to go see the Simpsons movie today and any obstacles be damned!!!

10:58 pm - Harry Potter: Movie #5
|
I suppose since I did two reviews of the fourth movie, it's only fair that I do at least one for the fifth. Here goes:
I liked it a lot.
Dudley and his gang was pretty amusing(stupidly funny).
Harry had good teen angst.
Serius Black never ceases to fill me with wonder and amazement.
Ron needs to have sex with Hermione and get it over with, because he is just crawling with unsatisfied desire.
Umbridge did exactly what she needed to do. I was impressed. I hated her guts.
The new Dumbledore (and he's still called the "new" one even though he's been in 3 out of the 5 movies) STILL just doesn't stand up to the original.
Luna Lovegood is my favorite character in the whole movie. And if I were a character in the book, I would date her.
Poor Ginny couldn't stop giving Harry her lovey dovey eyes.
I didn't like Cho. Still.
The whole Room of requirement/Dumbledore's Army part of the movie was excellent.
I imagined Snape being a little(lot) more violent when he quit giving Harry occlumency lessons.
No quidditch in the whole movie. Aw well, not a huge loss.
Fred's and George's exit, though not as amazing as in the book, was still quite amazing and I enjoyed it.
I was one of the few people who cried out "EEWWWW" when that boil on Filch's nose burst.
The thestrals should have been more skeletal.
Grawp was cute..... in an ugly giant sort of way.....
In the department of mysteries, Ginny let off a little spell that blew apart the ENTIRE prophecy room. I think that SHE is the most powerful witch in the series. Forget Dumbledore, I'd have Ginny protect me from Voldemort.
Bellarix Lestrange was very familiar(and almost hot in a gross evil way). Someone help me place her.
Voldemort was kicking Dumbledore's ass. It should have been the other way around.
When Fudge exclaimed(ever so dramatically) "He's Back." when he saw Voldemort, he ruined the entire mood of that scene.
I'm still morbidly upset that Serius had to die.
All in all, there wasn't that much stuff I could mock in this movie. It's definitely the best Potter movie. Go see it.
And Cedric Diggory makes a cameo in a picture. What a cheese.

I'm beginning to feel a little contempt.
It's not much, but it's not getting any smaller (quite the opposite) and it's not going anywhere soon.
I don't miss ATP.
Not to confuse anyone: I haven't left it (again), I am just enjoying the summer and I don't miss the classes... or the people really (sorry Molly and both Seans (and Andrew for when you do your routine checkup on my livejournal)).
I'm starting to get mad at people for no reason.
And with my non-confrontational personality, it's just going to build up inside of me until I either hurt myself or someone else.
Katie's in Texas for a week visiting her brother Johnny.
My parents are in Ohio for 2 weeks looking for a farm to buy.
My brother and best friend, Dan, is in Southern California for an unspecified amount of time.
Matt, Melissa, John, and Travis came over last night.
We had a party of sorts.
I spent about 50 bucks on food and drinks and I didn't really have very much fun.
The best part of the night was leaving the room when Matt and Melissa wouldn't go get a private one.
That way I got to be by myself.
Dear God.
I just read everything I wrote and somehow I've turned all emo.
In light of this unfortunate news, I need someone to come to my house and shoot me in the face.
I'll be here all by myself at any time of the day.(except from 11am-5pm mon-fri which is my work hours)
Speaking of which, I gotta go to work.

10:21 am - I'm working again
|
I'm a pizza delivery boy.
It's a very glamorous job.
I get to work at my own pace.
I get two bucks for every delivery.
Plus I get tips.
Seeing as how, in three days of work, I've made more money in tips that I did in one paycheck working at KOHL's, I like this job very much.
Tips are awesome.
I highly recommend getting a job with tips.
Oh, I'm going to FANIME with Katie this weekend so nobody try to contact me.
I love her! (Have I mentioned that?)

7:25 am - Spring Break

The last 5 or so days I spent with Katie, and they have been 5 or so of the most amazingly wonderful days of my life.
In other news, I did not do one single bit of homework over spring break.
Also, I have an interview at KUIC radio station on thursday morning.
I'll be hosting my own radio show if I get the job, appearantly no one else applied.
That's a lie. I'll probably be working at a desk or doing promotional things.

So on sunday, I went with Katie to help out at her sister's "Mother's Club" thingy.
It was a place where parents would bring their kids to do arts and crafts type stuff.
There was coloring and gluing and running and screaming. AND face painting.
There was also a guy in a easter bunny suit for kids to take pictures with.
Well, I was just standing around not doing anything and that was my first mistake.
They asked me to fill in for the easter bunny guy so he could hang out with his little daughter doing the crafts and junk.
My second mistake was saying yes.
Somehow, the tail of the bunny suit was all wet and so I had to sit on a wet cotton tail for an hour while screaming kids took their pictures with me.
Afterward my jeans were soaked through to my butt.
But I got to spend the day with Katie.
All in all a fun day.

So, I'm pretty much a big sap when it comes to sentimental movies and music.
I'll cry at most Disney movies, even.
Like when Coral and the eggs get eaten at the beginning of "Finding Nemo".
Today during Singing class, Connie gave Seth "When She Loved Me" from Toy Story 2.
As soon as the music started and before Seth even got any words out, I was all teary-eyed.
By the end, I had to excuse myself to the bathroom to take care of myself.
Appearantly, I can't hold my emotions.
Why am I posting this?
I have no idea.
